ICLA Officer - Information Management "Nationals Only"

1. Roles and Responsibilities
The Information Management Officer will act as the project data focal point for the Information
Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) programme covering the Central Region of Jordan. As ICLA provides case management, the incumbent would be expected to be an expert in the case management database, the needs assessment tool(s) and any other data gathering tool. Reporting directly to the Project Manager for the Central Region, s/he will help management with quality control exercises, help the implementation team assess and record needs and ensure systematic recording of data.

Generic responsibilities
· Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
· Implement delegated Core Competency project portfolio according to plan of action.
· Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
· Ensure proper filing of documents.
· Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better
ways to assist.
· Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.

Specific responsibilities
· Master all aspects of data tools used by ICLA (this includes a large case management database, and many kobo type tools),
· Act as ICLA Central Region focal point for output level data compliation and reporting,
· Ensure quality control and data cleaning of data in ICLA Central Region Records,
· Cooperate with the M&E team and Specialist team on providing feedback regarding context
changes that raise new data trends and needs assessments.
· Develop and implement field staff capacity development linked to data collection and
management tools and approaches.
· Work in collaboration with the Specialist Team's Technical Officer when required

· Experience from working within technical expertise area in a humanitarian/ recovery context.
· Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
· Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
· Some knowledge of English.
Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience:
Qualification requirement: College/diploma degree equivalent
Years of Experience:
· Excellent IT and data managment skills
· 3 years' work experience in the fields of data managment and reporting.
· Knowledge of protection and/legal issues and M&E processes is an advantage
· Experience of providing this technical assistance within the humanitarian context.
