Senior Consultant on Reproductive Health and Family Planning Policies

The Jordan Communication, Advocacy, and Policy (JCAP) is a USAID-funded project hat promotes reproductive health and family planning. JCAP is implemented by Abt Associates, a mission driven global leader in research, technical assistance, and program implementation in the fields of health, social environmental policy, and international development,

JCAP seeks qualified candidates to perform, a short-term consultancy to support the Higher Population Council to review progress made under the current National Strategy for FPJRH (2013 - 2018). The estimated level of effort is 25 working days from April-July 2018.

Tasks

Conducting comprehensive desk review and analysis of Strategy indicators based on data including Jordan Demographic and Family Health Survey (JDHS) 2017-2018 findings
Update the Strategy's results framework through interviews with key stakeholders
Conduct three workshops ,to solicit information from relevant parties
Conduct and technically manage the implementation of a one day validation workshop
Develop a final review report, including progress achieved, barriers, and recommendations going forward
Minimum Qualifications

1. A Master’s degree in public health, nursing, or any other related field; PhD preferred.

2. Minimum of (10) years of progressively responsible professional work experiences in program monitoring and evaluation

3. Solid experience in monitoring and evaluation methodologies including quantitative and qualitative approaches and assessment of best practices and lessons learned

4. Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.

5. Prior experience in areas of reproductive health family planning preferred.
