تعلن  ARK Group DMCC في عمان عن حاجتها الى :

Freelance Interpreter/Translator


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation inside and outside Amman, in the majority of times at very short notice.
• Be willing and eligible to work in conference, community, liaison, and escort interpretation within the Jordanian Security Agencies training facilities, Syrian refugee camps, host communities etc.
• Occasionally assist the Translation Services Manager in the translation of technical documents as needed in the activity being carried out.
• Round-the-clock availability and high flexibility in terms of start/finishing times and last-minute cancellations due to force majeure related to the nature of the project.
• Self-accountability in terms of language quality and duties at hand during training sessions and high-level meetings.
• Ability to mediate unbiasedly and ensure flawless communication between two or more parties.
• Readiness to handle workload under pressure.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Excellent command of English & Arabic (written & spoken). French is an asset.
• Recognized degree in translation/interpretation and/or a related field.
• Interpreting training/education by a recognized academic institution.
• Previous experience (min. 2 years) in conference, community, liaison, and/or escort interpretation (Simultaneous and/or Consecutive)
• Very good computer skills - particularly Ms. Office – Word, Power Point & Excel, etc..

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Consistent knowledge and previous experience in Policing and Counter-Terrorism is highly desirable. 
• High endurance and physical ability required for some tactical trainings (challenging weather conditions, extra training hours etc.).
