تعلن  International Medical Corps عن حاجتها الى :

MHPSS Officer

Scope of Work:
  • Overall remote management of the mental health project to ensure that a high-quality program is delivered.
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with staff, clients and partner agencies
  • Ensure MHPSS service delivery is conducted in accordance with international guidelines and IMC policies
  • Conduct all essential and ongoing training in PFA, IASC and case management
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of mhGAP trainings, on-the-job supervision, and liaise with all relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly budget and control expenses
  • Liaison with other agencies and provide them with the essential training.
  • Create a positive atmosphere and motivate the staff effectively.
  • Regularly Provide the MHPSS staff with technical supervision and advice.
  • Provide regular training and professional development opportunities to staff remotely.
  • Liaise with other support services for referrals and follow up, create and manage up to date referral pathways and mechanisms.
  • Submit activity reports as requested by supervisor.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of MHPSS activities to ensure quality of services implemented.
  • Assist in the development of MHPSS activities and proposals.
  • Monitor the quality of services provided by psychosocial workers PSWs.
  • Support psychologists and psychiatrists with coordination of activities.
  • Quality assurance for different activities of the project.
  • Attend all meetings with partners and stakeholders, and ensure representation at cross-border Protection and Health working groups in Amman.
  • Perform other job related duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the cross-border MHPSS Coordinator to ensure technical quality of cross-border MHPSS programming
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in the field of mental health, counseling, social science or any other related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in an INGO is preferred
  • Experience providing remote management / supervision would be advantageous
