مطلوب Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant للعمل في عمان 


Job Summary:  In coordination with project team members, the M&E Assistant will design, develop, and implement an office-wide M&E system and project-level M&E plans to measure the performance and impact of the work. The M&E Assistant will support staff capacity building to collect, document, analyze, and disseminate data.  Working with the Project Manager, the M&E Assistant will coordinate information management and reporting systems for the project.    


Principal duties and responsibilities:
1.       Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that up-to-date data is being collected for the project, in line with the project targets in a timely manner, through providing proper plan and follow up on it.
2.       Work Closely with other project team members to develop data collection methodology, M&E tools, databases, and assessments.
  1. Coordinate effectively with project’s team members to document projects’ achievements (quantitative and qualitative and prepare proper reports for the project manager.
  2. Develop and maintain an internal tracking tool for M&E activities (such as setting baselines, rapid assessments, evaluations, lessons learned and recommendations, and follow-up on recommendations).
  3. Ensure regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and periodic) data reports with data visualization in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct regular field visits to support quality implementation of the project and share regular feedback with relevant stakeholders.
  5. Regular review for current project inputs and project assessment needs, plans and coordinate with the technical team for its implementation and quality.
8.       Verify quality progress of all projects’ interventions to ensure that activities are implemented in an appropriate manner and to provide support, guidance and advice.
9.       Enhance the accountability pathways that shows the analysis of complaints and feedbacks received.
  1. Provide effective, innovative leadership in the field to facilitate the achievement of project’s objectives.
  2. Build the capacity of project staff through trainings to ensure adoption of new data monitoring tools and quality of data collected in line with donor indicators and for internal use.
  3. Ensure proper documentation and filing of all M&E data, reports, and students documents.
  4. Contribute to proposal writing, including planning and conducting needs assessments, as well as drafting and reviewing M&E plans.
  5. Based on the on-going monitoring of the activities, the assistant will ensure lessons learnt and success stories from the project are documented and reported to the project manager.
  6. Any other tasks assigned by the project manager.


Required Background, knowledge & Skills:

1.       Bachelor degree in business administration, public administration, Economics or related field.
2.       At least two years’ experience working in M&E, preferably with NGOs.
3.       Excellent oral and written Arabic and English language skills.
4.      Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs.


Required interpersonal skills:

1.       High level of knowledge of M&E methodologies quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
2.       Experience designing, developing and implementing M&E systems, M&E plans, and data management tools.
3.       Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and team work skills.
